4. by the power of the red string - In true Urek Mazino fashion, the floor 77 test requires you to face forward and break the ceiling. Khun's childhood decisions come back to roost with the strange new friendship between Bam and Maria, of all people, and his own feelings on the matter get wonderfully called into question. By happenstance, Khun and Bam reunite in a heat hotel area, and in doing so, they end up ruining multiple plots by accident. But Gustang is much better at chess than it appears.

1. a wish cradled in the shadows - In which Khun meets Jue Viole Grace, the slayer candidate, at literally the most inconvenient time. But he makes it work. He always does.
2. purple shadows at the edge of dusk - This time, Oriole will not let go. Or, a time Oriole had nothing, four times she was given something, and one time she finally could give back. (Plus a time it was all returned to her)
3. when shadows warm with light - Khun wakes up, in the aftermath. He's all right.
4. light at the edge of sunrise - Viole makes a promise he cannot break.
5. the shadows will try to steal you away - Khun begins the courting process for his best friend. Bam dives deeper in his goal of changing FUG, the ten families and the tower itself. But the tower is stubborn and some have a story they want to tell. It will not be easy. And no one is prepared for who is lurking in the shadows.

Then, Khun finds it and he just can't resist. Meanwhile, Viole's days go on with no end in sight, laced with pain and fool's gold. Until her vision is filled with blue and she's whisked away into the open sky.

Fate is a cruel thing to swallow. Going back in time to change it or create it anew is something you have to decide. But that doesn't mean the past will stay still either.

1. the whole world lit up - Khun is finally ready to climb again. There are rumors of a missing slayer candidate. But none of that matters when a mysterious assailant attacks his bunker and decimates almost all he worked for. And for whatever reason, the guy wants to be caught.
2. shades of you - Viole wakes up after fighting Urek Mazino in a man's lap. It looks like Khun-ssi. It feels like him, but something is different. Maybe this is a dream. Maybe it's a break. But he's… it's nice to be able to hear the name Bam again.
